Eastern Montana Veteran's Home is looking for a committed and patient-focused, Physical Therapist to develop, recover or maintain the daily living and work skills of people with physical, mental or developmental conditions. You will offer effective and client-centered services that will enable people to confidently and independently carry out everyday tasks or activities.

Physical Therapist Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate physical rehabilitation plan.
• Help Residents to improve their mobility.
• Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
• Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
• Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants when required.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Physical Therapist Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus!
• Completion of orientation required by company policy.
• Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment.
• Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job.
• Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
