Certification Details ACLS BLS NRP Job Details The Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care during the antepartum, intrapatum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phase of Obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. Utilizes the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. Demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgement and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care. Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education. Delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available. Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Job Requirements Required : ACLS Required : BLS Required : NRP Preferred : STABLE Schedule Information Day Shift 6a - 6 : 30p Will consider 4 x 12's 48 Guaranteed hours Will consider Block Booking as long as it doesn't have to be the same days every week. Every other weekend required. Unit Specific Information Census on the unit varies, may also float to other units as needed to be helping hands, answer lights, take vital signs, etc.
