Position Overview

Acceptance in to the Adjunct Faculty Pool does not guarantee employment. You will be contacted on an as-needed basis when positions become available in the Adjunct Faculty Pool.

Adjunct appointments carry no commitment on the part of Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell (ENMU-R) for employment beyond each specific event and at each specific position for which you are hired.

Salary: $700 per credit hour

The Nursing Adjunct Instructor position is a temp part-time faculty position that serves on an "as-needed" basis under the direction of the Nursing Program Director. The duties for this position may vary based on the qualifications of the Nursing Adjunct Instructor and the needs of the Nursing Program.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current unencumbered license as a registered nurse in New Mexico in good standing or current unencumbered compact state license as a registered nurse (Must obtain New Mexico RN license within 90 days of employment).
  • Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience as an RN in an acute care or long-term-care setting.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a non-smoking environment.
Adjunct faculty positions are part time temporary assignments that are based on the needs of the University.
