Nurse Administrator Wanted for ENMU
We are seeking an experienced nurse administrator to join our team as the Program Director of Nursing at Eastern New Mexico University. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the BSN Completion and MSN Educator Programs, which offer students the opportunity to advance their careers while earning a bachelor's degree without sacrificing quality education.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing education, with a PhD, EdD, or DNP degree in nursing. They will have a minimum of three years of teaching experience and demonstrated leadership ability. In addition to teaching and advising students, the Program Director will oversee accreditation compliance, budgeting, hiring, and financial expenditures for the Nursing Program.
The Program Director will work closely with program faculty to design curricula, develop programs, and assess student outcomes. They will also participate in institution-wide faculty meetings and contribute to the growth and development of the Health and Human Services department.
ENMU's online Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program prepares graduates for the role of educator in a Nursing Professional Development (NPD) program and qualifies them to sit for the National League for Nursing (NLN) Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) Exam. The program is designed for nurses who wish to complete their MSN degree in two years or less.
