Job Title: Adult Day Center Program Director

SUMMARY: Administer and supervise operation of the Adult Day Center program. Director will ensure program compliance and integrity according to state regulations and standard best practices. Supervises staff, intake and admission process and appropriate discharge of participants.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Serve as HIPPA compliance officer for the program.
Ensure compliance with all existing health, safety and program standards and regulations applicable to adult day care services in the state of Oklahoma.
Ensure that licensure requirements are met and a new license is obtained annually.
Make annual application to DHS for contracts; ensure contract compliance and meet minimum standards as defined by the department.
Coordinate OKDHS, Department of Health, Veteran Affairs and other survey processes.
Coordinate with Center personnel to carry out services and activities such as recreation, dietary, socialization, health, transportation and all other components of the adult day care services program to meet the needs of the participants.
Coordinate with the Communications / Marketing to promote the Adult Day Center program.
Serve as program representative to external components as directed by administration.
Recruit, supervise and evaluate staff in compliance with Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center personnel policies.
Provide and coordinate monthly staff in-service training on appropriate and current subject areas.
Responsible for the administrative function as it relates to personnel folders, job descriptions, sick leave and coordination of vacation and personal time.
Work with the Business Manager to develop the facilities budget.
Monitors budget and related financial matters. Carries out sound fiscal management practices to ensure the financial documentation of all expenditures and all income from program participation.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise all Adult Day Center staff. Responsible for all direction, coordination and evaluation of the Adult Day Center Staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable law.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree and one-year supervisory experience in a social or health services setting, or a minimum of a high school diploma plus five consecutive years supervisory work experience in a long-term care or geriatric setting.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Current certification in CPR and First Aid required. Adult Day Center Administrator license preferred or must be willing to obtain within 6 months of hire date.
