Position Summary:
Responsible for maintaining pleasant and consistent daily operations of the Physical Therapy department.
Position Accountabilities:
- Greets all incoming guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Maintains an orderly and organized front office workspace.
- Maintain established levels of supplies including linens, crutches, canes, bandages, tape and office supplies.
- Perform clerical duties answering the telephone, and other related duties as directed.
- Performs patient scheduling, insurance verification, and billing.
- Assist in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
- Participate in educational programs and in-service meetings. Attend meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant.

Must give evidence of being able to meet the physical and emotional demands of the job.
Physical Demands:
Mostly standing, intermittent exertion in positioning, lifting, transferring patients, equipment, and supplies. Mostly sitting for clerical duties.

Generally pleasant environment. Prolonged standing and intermittent exertion when performing treatment.
