Eastern Oregon University (EOU), Oregon's Rural University, is currently seeking one or more part-time Campus Security Officers. This position reports directly to the Director of Campus Safety and Security.

- Protects people and property.
- Plans for and takes steps to mitigate threats to the campus community and coordinates response to emergencies that arise.
- Ensures that campus infrastructure is used in a safe and orderly fashion through parking enforcement and enforcement of university policies.
- Provides equitable access. Investigates and documents anything that affects the safety of the campus, or that might interfere with the university's mission.
- Maintains a calm and positive demeanor
- Excellent communication and customer service skills (email, phone, in-person)
- Thrives in a team-oriented culture, and has a strong understanding of teamwork, dedication, and accountability
- Consistently employs an organized approach to problem solving
- Strives to be fair and ethical in their dealings with others
- Good general computer skills, including Microsoft Word
