What are the responsibilities and job description for the Petroleum Transport Driver position at Eastern Petroleum Corporation?
- Daily deliver fuels as directed by Management to our customers.
- ?Stick? tanks for physical fuel inventory accuracy BEFORE the fuel drop and print a before and after reading on the Electronic Monitoring System.
- Practice safe driving habits as first nature to assure successful completion of assigned work.
- Keep trucks/trailers washed & cleaned with soap and water only at least 2 times per month.
- Continually keep the Operations Division informed of supply, vehicle status, repairs, road conditions, customer feedback, and other things that will have a direct effect upon the company.
- Schedule maintenance every 6 weeks
- Monitor the condition and maintenance requirements of your equipment.
- Work with Management in scheduling repairs or down time.
- Provide 1 months? notice when vacation needed.
- Help keep our sites clean, hazard free and attractive to customers.
- Be sure that all spill buckets are clean and dry at end of each bulk delivery to the site. Report to Maintenance if you see these problems when arriving at a site.
- Be available to deliver products or items as asked, from the office to stores or back to the office.
- Have access to Internet/Smart Phone to receive scheduled loads of product via email.
- Allow your schedule to vary when it is most necessary and benefits the company?s progress.
- Attend periodic training as required for up-dates and information and safety training.
- Always display a good attitude and presentable appearance to the public.
- Perform Pre and Post trips on DOT vehicles as required by the law and our company.
- Notify Management if stopped by DOT or other law enforcement for a truck or driver inspection. Give results of the inspection the day of the incident.
- Keep exceptional records and logs as required by law and our accounting procedures.
