What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Nurse Practitioner position at Eastern Plains Medical Clinic of Calhan?
Rapidly growing Rural Health Clinic is looking for an exceptional Nurse Practitioner to work in our busy family practice. We provide all levels of family medicine to include ages from pediatrics to geriatrics and pre-natal care. Must be able to multi-task and keep up with a fast-paced demanding work environment while providing our patients with excellent care and customer service.
Duties:
- Provide direct care to patients.
- Perform medical histories on patients and complete necessary paperwork.
- Evaluate and provide care to patients per standard operating procedures.
- Perform limited, minor surgical procedures such as I&D, skin biopsy, laceration repair.
- Apply knowledge of drugs and therapeutics when prescribing and dispensing medication.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy of medical records.
Full COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement of this role.
