ERG is seeking a Project Specialist to join our team. This role will work closely with program managers, technical staff, and government clients to ensure seamless operations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking in a dynamic environment. This position will be full-time at the federal site in Indian Head, MD, and will include interaction and support from ERG personnel at the federal site as well as from ERG's Indian Head and Fairfax, VA offices. Indian Head is approximately 30 miles from Washington, DC, 25 miles from Alexandria, VA, and 60 miles from Fredericksburg, VA.
Job Description:- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement/contract needs and requirements
- Monitor and track invoices to ensure accuracy and timely payment
- Maintain reports and dashboards
- Prepare weekly financial reports and monthly invoices
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Maintain organized contract files and tracking spreadsheets
- Develop and maintain project planning tools, including action item tracking spreadsheets, project calendars, and flow charts
- Support data entry tasks
- BA, BBA, or BS degree
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (college transcripts required for applicants with less than 4 years of experience)
- 0 to 10 years of experience
- Strong organizational and planning skills, excellent communications skills (both written and verbal), meticulous attention to detail, highly motivated, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Willingness and ability to learn new software and technical skills required for planning, report preparation, and financial reporting
- Have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and fundamental data management concepts
- Experience with MS Power Platforms a plus
