Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Utilize phone etiquette to communicate effectively with customers over the phone.
- Assist customers in making purchases using the POS system, ensuring accurate transactions.
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of products to enhance customer experience.
- Maintain knowledge of store inventory and stock levels to assist customers effectively.
- Process cash register transactions accurately while adhering to company policies.
- Support sales initiatives by promoting products and upselling when appropriate.
- Apply retail math skills to assist in inventory management and sales reporting.
Skills
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for interacting with customers.
- Experience in sales or customer service within a grocery store or retail environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is required.
- Ability to perform basic retail math for inventory management and sales analysis.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse customer base.
- Experience with product demos to effectively showcase merchandise is advantageous.
