Night Shift Manager (Full-Time) – Eastern Shore Lanes
Location: Eastern Shore Lanes
Job Type: Full-Time (Evening & Late Night Shifts)
Hourly Rate: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour (based on experience)
Reports To: General Manager & AGM
Job Summary:
The Night Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Eastern Shore Lanes and Alley 25 Grill. Center during evening and late-night hours. This position ensures smooth operations, excellent customer service, staff supervision, and adherence to safety and company policies. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hospitality, entertainment, or food service experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: Operations & Customer Service:
- Oversee all areas, including bowling lanes, arcade, laser tag, restaurant, and bar, ensuring efficient operation.
- Provide outstanding customer service and quickly resolve guest concerns.
- Monitor business flow, staffing levels, and customer needs to make real-time operational decisions.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards are maintained throughout the facility.
- Conduct nightly financial reconciliations, including cash handling, deposits, and sales reporting.
Team Leadership & Staff Management:
- Supervise and support all staff during the night shift, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and coaching to ensure staff adhere to company policies and deliver excellent service.
- Assist with onboarding and training new employees.
- Manage shift scheduling, breaks, and coverage to ensure proper staffing levels.
- Address any employee concerns, conflicts, or performance issues and escalate as needed.
Facility & Security Oversight:
- Ensure all equipment, lanes, attractions, and dining areas are in working order; report maintenance issues.
- Monitor guest behavior and enforce house rules, age restrictions, and safety policies.
- Oversee alcohol service compliance and handle security situations as needed.
- Lock up and secure the facility at the end of the night, ensuring all closing procedures are completed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality, entertainment, or food service.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work late nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and financial reconciliations.
- Ability to enforce company policies while maintaining a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
