Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and functionality of outdoor spaces. This role involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, lawn care, site prep/cleanup, plumbing, electrical, water, sewer, carpentry, and general groundskeeping to ensure that our facilities are well-kept and inviting.
Duties
- Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, blowing
- Repair water systems
- Perform light carpentry
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems including, but not limited to; pex, spigots, water heaters, faucets, toilets
- Repair septic piping if necessary
- Light electrical work- swapping breakers, plugs, light fixtures, outlets, etc.
- Operate equipment such as tractor, mowers, etc
- Operate and maintain power tools (trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, etc) and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain cleanliness of grounds by removing debris and litter.
- Assist in cleaning bathrooms and office if needed
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, landscaping, carpentry, campground/resort maintenance is preferred
- Ability to operate various power tools and hand tools safely.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions is essential.
