Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is looking for Manufacturing Associates for our client in Owego, NY. This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of high level mechanical and electrical build of subassemblies. To excel in this key role, you must be able communicate clearly.
Responsibilities
- Owns tactical execution of supply strategy.
- Ability to follow written manufacturing instructions and expert manufacturing knowledge of designs/drawings/diagrams.
- Must be able to use hand tools, operator shop tools.
- Mus be skills in computer programs/software specific to the manufacturing process, tracking and traceability of product.
- Understands processes and work instructions and able to document processes. Able to submit changes to processes / prints and able to work with engineering on production process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three (3) yeas of procurement, electrical, and or assembly experience required.
- Strong math skills both reading and writing.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
- Read and follow complex electrical and mechanical prints.
- Soldering skills a plus!
- Strong attention to detail.
- Work independently and stick to a deadline.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift heavy objects when needed.
- Additional onboarding requirements as requested.
The estimated hourly salary range for this position is $17 – $20/hour though a candidate's salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
