What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Selector position at Eastern Staffing & Recruiting?
Eastern Staffing & Recruiting is looking to hire Order Selectors for our client in Broome County, NY! This position requires employees to work in a warehouse setting, picking goods, packaging picked boxes onto pallet jacks, and coordinating with other team members to deliver goods to the shipment area.
Responsibilities
- Mark materials with identifying information.
- Open boxes and other containers when necessary.
- Pick products and make sure it shows the correct selection of lot numbers/product codes.
- Record amount of material using site specific equipment to update inventory.
- Arrange stock parts in specific order for assembly.
- Communicate damaged products to inventory or lead/supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus!
- Must be able to list a minimum of 40 lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
- Ability to understand basic math problems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-changing environment.
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud.
The estimated hours salary range for this position is $18-$20 per hour, though a candidate's salary will be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
