Home Health Aide

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Home Health Aides, who have worked with individuals with Alzheimer and Dementia. This position is an integral member of a home health care team that provides home health care to our elderly population

suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia.

Duties

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Help with meal preparation and cooking nutritious meals tailored to client dietary needs.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client care activities.
• Assist clients in mobility, including lifting and transferring as needed.
• Administer basic medical tasks
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
• Support clients with medication management as directed by healthcare providers.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospice care or nursing home settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical records management is beneficial.
• Experience working with people with disabilities is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
• HHA Certified.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
