What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Technician position at Eastern Truck and Trailer?
Summary : Responsible for performing all outside repair / maintenance work in a thorough and accurate manner by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Services and installs all equipment according to an established service schedule, company standards and within acceptable time frames as well as troubleshoot and rectify potential problems on location.
2. Applies knowledge of products and seeks additional training / education as appropriate.
3. Documents legibly and accurately all work completed according to company policy, and submits on a daily basis.
4. Coordinate daily with Mobil Service Coordinator admin / liaison between customer and ET&T.
5. Turn in detailed paperwork daily. Including part numbers, vin numbers and pictures of before and after repairs.
6. Works closely with management to ensure timely scheduling of installations, repairs and service work.
7. Maintains service vehicles in a clean manner at all times, performs preventive maintenance and maintains a vehicle logbook on service / repairs done on a routine basis.
8. Keeps vehicle stocked with a sufficient supply of parts and tools.
9. Builds and maintains customer relations in field to ensure excellent customer service and enhance the company's image.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.
