Duties and Responsibilities:
- Builds and cultivates relationships with outside agencies for the purpose of advocating and coordinating family training and events that meet the needs of families with young children.
- Builds and maintains positive community collaborations and partnerships for the purpose of meeting program requirements and working together to promote the health, wellbeing, and learning of all families of young children, and to maximize resources and avoid duplication of services.
- Collaborates and coordinates with internal personnel for the purpose of implementing early childhood programs and facilitating access to developmental screenings, referrals, and community resources.
- Compiles and reviews data (e.g., family attendance/engagement, retention, event offerings, program outcomes, referrals, participant surveys, etc.) for the purpose of analyzing issues, identifying program needs, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures, and/or monitoring program components.
- Conducts outreach and coordinates incentives for the purpose of encouraging family participation in early childhood related events.
- Develops and facilitates virtual and in-person family engagement events, trainings, and meetings related to program goals and family interests.
- Identifies resources and outreach strategies to engage hard-to-reach families.
- Provides input and implements a communications plan (including newsletters, reporting, social media, early childhood website, and publications) for the purpose of recruiting families and providing information to stakeholder groups (e.g., community agencies, funders, etc.)
- Maintains a variety of confidential electronic lists and records for the purpose of providing required information and/or documentation.
- Participates in program planning, evaluation efforts, and community needs assessments for the purpose of ensuring family and community engagement is accurately represented as a key component.
- Supports and promotes online community resource & referral hubs
- Participates in the development and implementation of early childhood strategic plans.
- Attends regional, state, and national professional trainings and meetings as needed.
- Remain free of substance abuse and/or illegal drug use at all times
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,595.00 - $43,505.00 per year
