Job Summary

The RIDE Spokane Dental Director is responsible for managing the first and second year RIDE program, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional policies and procedures. This position requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the RIDE program, including developing executive-level reports for strategic planning and operational decision-making.

• Direct, monitor, and analyze the financial resources for the Program, including financial planning, budgeting, and accounting functions.

• Ensure compliance with fiscal/grant policies and procedures of the University, Program, State, and those of federal and other funding agencies.

• Oversee procedures and documentation that assure fiscal compliance with University, State, and Federal guidelines and laws involving personnel/payroll, purchasing, budget management, and travel.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Dentist or dental surgeon degree required.

• Senior leadership experience in dental education or healthcare management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to thrive in a collaborative environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

• Must have MMR immunity or vaccination record on file prior to starting work.
