Purpose
Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees from other departments, and teammates. Ability to carry out and understand assignments, and/or convey or exchange routing information. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, technical procedures, company policies/procedures, or other program-related information. Ability to rapidly obtain, sort, filter, and analyze large volumes of data for distillation into high-level reports. Ability to work in a highly technical and fast-paced detailed design and construction program environment. Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently, as part of a team, or lead a small team. Ability to adapt to various job assignments that stretch the boundaries of the job description due to the dynamic nature of Government Shipbuilding. Functions
- Regular attendance at work and the ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Create, maintain, or develop schedules and tracking matrices to support Project Engineering, Field Engineering, Change Management, Operations, or other engineering group activities and objectives,
- Direct and coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables are submitted in accordance with the intended requirements of all tasking,
- Provide metrics and tracking support on design deliverable submissions,
- Provide detailed plans of action and deficiency reports for deliverable reviews to support Project Engineering, Field Engineering, Change Management, or other engineering groups’ objectives and schedules.
- Work within various databases (including Gov’t systems (e.g., TSM)), SharePoint, Adept, and other Microsoft suite products to provide current and accurate status and actionable item information to management,
- Oversee daily team actionable item completion and support project leads with current status,
- Support tracking CAR, Trial Card, Change Documentation, and other program support response and resolution status,
- Perform other duties as instructed.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- A Data and Information Analyst 3 may have team leadership responsibilities over employees.
Reporting Relationship
This position will report to Engineering or Operations Supervisors
