REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience: Graduation from high school or GED equivalent with specialized course work in business administration, shipyard trade or a related fields, plus one or more years experience in an administrative/clerical position, shipyard trade; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Experience in Surtrak/Primavera software or other types of planning/scheduling software is a plus.
Skills: Proficient at Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook Express. Ability to read and understand drawings/sketches, technical data, specifications, detail schedules and labor hour reports. The ability to formulate spreadsheets and work books. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other employees including ESG Management. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
