Job Description
Easterseals Central and Southeast Ohio, Inc. hosts an after-school program in partnership with Franklin County Department of Jobs and Family Services and South-Western City School District. We are looking to hire a talented assistant teacher who will actively assist school-age students with arts and crafts, physical education, and social-emotional learning activities. Job Duties
- Assist with daily activities such as artwork, music, and free play/physical education.
- Help implement lesson plans and work individually with children.
- Supervise and assist students to ensure their safety and comfort during outside play, classroom activities, bathroom needs, and other duties as directed.
- Assist in operational activities such as daily materials preparation, correspondence with parents, meal services, attendance, etc.
- Assist with the routine cleaning of the program areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the School Age Programs Manager.
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a school-age or summer camp setting preferred.
- First Aid and CPR certification or eligibility to obtain required certifications.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

- Salary: $18 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:15 pm to 5:15 pm
