Position Opening – Respite Coordinator
Easterseals Delaware & Maryland’s Eastern Shore is seeking a highly organized, self-starter who is interested in joining our Community Outreach Program team as a Respite Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be interested in making connections and forming partnerships in the community to promote and expand Easterseals Respite Programs for caregivers. Key job responsibilities:
- Raise awareness of the current Respite Programs
- Support the day to day operation of the Respite Programs
- Develop and initiate new respite programming
- Recruit and manage respite volunteers
- Participate in outreach activities to assist with program expansion efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field (preferred)
- Clear, effective oral and written communication
- Proficient in Microsoft office programs
- Good time management and organization skills
- Willingness and ability to drive throughout the state
