Description :
Easterseals Iowa is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Facility Maintenance Apprentice. This is a great opportunity to learn valuable skills and processes in facility management while gaining hands-on experience in a variety of maintenance tasks. The Apprentice will work closely with experienced maintenance professionals, learning the trade and contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities. This role requires a desire to learn and have a career in facility management and guest relations. This position will be a 40 hour, full time position.

Interview process consists of 1st phone interview with Recruitment and Talent Development Coordinator and 2nd in-person interview with the department-specific Team Leader.
Qualifications :
- Desire to learn and have a career in facility management and guest relations.
- Motivation and ability to work independently.
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and lift.
- Ability to transfer or move a minimum of 80 pounds.
- Ability to ambulate independently throughout Easterseals buildings and grounds.
- Ability to consistently meet departmental work schedule as designated.
- Access to Reliable Transportation for regular participation in work.
- Possession of valid Iowa Driver’s License and maintenance of safe driving record.
- Ability to pass background checks.
- Insurable under Easterseals vehicle insurance policy.
