Description :
POSITION STATEMENT : The FSC Specialist serves as the backup supervisor and will work closely with the FSC supervisor and Program Manager to ensure smooth operations and completion of work product for the FSC program.
Essential Job Responsibilities :
Acts as FSC supervisor when FSC supervisor is on leave
When the supervisor is out for extended leave, the backup supervisor’s caseload would be handled as an empty caseload and distributed to SCs.
Complete supervision
Complete required tracking
Complete compliance checks
Assists with reviewing plans during rush times
Assists in assigning new referrals
Helping with FSC assignment
Helping with intake calls
Assists with new referral tracking, and collaborates with FSCS to remove barriers
Assists in leading FSC team meetings
In the office for at least two or more days as needed
Works with supervisor to ensure at least supervisor or backup supervisor is present in the office
Assists with ensuring billing potential and the fulfillment of quotas
Assists with the new hire process
Sits in on interviews
Assists with training
Assists with in-field monitoring / supervision and corrective action processes
Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS
Must meet the requirements to be and FSC Support Coordinator
Must be current on FSC Matrix
Must have 2 years as a Family Support Coordinator
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS with or without accommodation :
The employee is regularly required to operate a computer, file and retrieve written documents, and communicate with others on the phone and in person.
The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, use hands, and lift and / or move lightweight items.
Ability to move independently within the facility and community. Must have a vehicle they can utilize for home visits. Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
