HR Business Partner
Location: Fort Wayne, In USA
Pay: $52,748.80 - $71,392.88
Shift: Monday - Friday 8a-5p
Job Summary: The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for managing the day-to-day HR operations and ensuring a positive and compliant workplace. This role focuses on employee relations, investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance management to support a fair and equitable work environment. The HRBP works closely with Recruiting, Training, and Benefits HR Managers, collaborates with other HRBPs across regions, and supervises front desk operations. Additionally, the HRBP monitors and analyzes key HR metrics to support workforce planning and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate employee complaints, including allegations of Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation (ANE), workplace misconduct, and policy violations.
- Ensure fair and consistent application of disciplinary actions based on investigative findings.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and corrective actions.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Title VII, etc.).
- Oversee front desk operations, ensuring professional customer service and efficient administrative support.
- Manage workplace policies to promote a positive employee experience and engagement.
- Serve as an HR point of contact for employees, addressing workplace concerns and HR-related inquiries.
- Oversee the performance review process, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide coaching and training to managers on best practices for employee development and feedback.
- Work closely with Recruiting, Training, and Benefits Managers to align HR processes with business needs.
- Collaborate with HRBPs in other regions to ensure consistency in HR practices and share best practices.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives that improve employee engagement and retention.
- Track and analyze key HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, disciplinary trends, etc.) to drive data-based decision-making.
- Prepare reports for leadership to identify trends and recommend HR interventions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of HR experience, with a focus on employee relations, investigations, and HR operations.
- Experience managing employee discipline, investigations, and performance management required.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and HR analytics tools.
