Job Overview
Easterseals PORT Health is seeking dedicated professionals to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives. This role involves assisting clients with learning and maintaining essential life skills, enabling them to gain greater independence within their homes and communities.
Under the supervision of a program supervisor, you will help clients develop socially appropriate daily living skills, providing much-needed breaks for families. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training for this entry-level position.
The ideal candidate will possess a heart for serving others, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license. Additionally, they must complete our training curriculum, which includes CPR/First Aid, Crisis Intervention Techniques, Medication Administration, OSHA/Bloodborne Pathogen (BBP), Seizure Management, and Core competencies relevant to the position.
