DIRECT SERVICE PROVIDER (DSP) - No Experience Needed!
Easterseals PORT Health, a non-profit service provider in North Carolina & Virginia, seeks compassionate, caring, and dedicated individuals to become part-time Caregivers (internally called “Direct Service Providers” or DSPs) to our clients living with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges. We are hiring for the following locations and shifts:
Full time:
Wednesday from 4pm till Saturday at 8am. Total hours each week would be 40 hrs. You are required to stay on site for the duration of your shift & clock out to sleep each night for 8hrs. In the event you had to get up in the night to assist a resident you would be compensated for your time.

Your care will make a huge difference in the lives of the people you will be helping. You will help our clients with their daily living activities, including employment support, as well as keep them socially engaged in activities so their days are enjoyable and meaningful. Daily documentation and reporting are required.

What We’re Looking For
To join our team, you must have a willingness to provide care in various community settings. We require a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance. You must also be willing to successfully complete a background check.
