What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outpatient Therapist position at Easterseals PORT Health?

Easterseals PORT Health is looking for a dedicated and compassionate full-time Licensed Clinician to join our Outpatient Therapy Team (OPT) in the Mt. Airy area. As a crucial member of our supportive and collaborative team, you will help transform lives by providing a holistic range of services that empower patients to move forward. Part-time candidates will also be considered.
What You’ll Do
As a clinician on our OPT team, you will contribute significantly to the well-being of the individuals under your care. Your clinical skills and experience will be vital in the screening, assessment and goal development process. Additionally, our clinicians recommend and coordinate supporting services for individuals when needed. The teams at Easterseals PORT Health care directly for our clients in our outpatient clinics in one-on-one or group sessions as well as in the community, including visits to clients living in their own homes.
How You’ll Benefit
You’ll earn a competitive salary starting at $47,000- 60,000 based on your experience plus enjoy a Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm work schedule with some evening flexibility for program and client needs. This position is on-site. We also offer competitive benefits for benefits-eligible positions.

What We’re Looking For
To join our team as a licensed clinician you must have in-depth knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and group techniques as well as their practical application in an outpatient setting, be able to work independently, be adept at problem solving and de-escalation in times of crisis. We also require:
- Full or provisional licensure: LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT
- Dual licensure preferred
- Prior mental health and/or substance use experience preferred
