Easterseals PORT Health, a non-profit service provider in North Carolina & Virginia, seeks a compassionate, caring, and dedicated individual to be an IT Network Analyst. The incumbent functions primarily as a specialist who plans, implements, tests and maintains computer systems. This position will implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
What You’ll Do
The IT Network Analyst functions primarily as a specialist who plans, implements, tests and maintains computer systems. This position will implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
- Design, implement, and optimize network configurations to meet the organization's evolving needs.
- Plan and execute network capacity upgrades as required.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to optimize performance and reliability.
- Follows all ESUCP procedures as appropriate to position
Work Schedule: 8:00a-5p
What We’re Looking For
To join our team, you must have a willingness to provide care in various client settings as well be willing to take a background check. We also require:
- Industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network , or equivalent are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.
- Experience with network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and network monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with security protocols and practices.
- Ability to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality.
- Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
Training and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role (Ideally 3 years).
- Employment is contingent upon satisfactory outcome of criminal & credit background investigation.
