At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), we’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated full-time Patient Services Coordinator (PSC) to join our team in Jacksonville, NC. As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team, you will work together to transform the lives of individuals by providing a comprehensive range of services that treat the whole person and empower patients to find their way forward.
What You’ll Do
As the PSC, you will be responsible for performing administrative and clerical functions in a clinic that serves adults with substance use, mental health and co-occurring medical conditions. The PSC will serve as a member of the front desk administrative team that checks in patients, collects co-pays, handles medical records and processes patient paperwork and data. As the face of the organization at check-in and check-out the PSC proves excellent customer service to all patients and families visiting the clinic.

What We’re Looking For
To join our team as the Patient Services Coordinator you must have knowledge of Electronic Health Records and medical billing, have a high degree of accuracy in documentation, and have knowledge of insurance processes. We also require:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with mental health population preferred
- Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
