Position Summary:

The Label Technician supports customer satisfaction through the operation of the label machine, providing maintenance to the machine, setting up successful jobs to transition to the next step in the kit building process. Will support the Picking and Quality Control Teams when there is downtime or minimal volume for the label machine. With a customer-first attitude, the Label Technician, in collaboration with the Picking and Quality Control teams supports the work of the employees on the Production floor, and has a strong sense of how the Production operation supports the Production department mission.

Essential and Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up, calibrate, and operate label printing and application machines according to production requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize machine downtime.
• Inspect labels for accuracy, quality, and adherence to company and industry standards.
• Adjust machine settings to accommodate different label materials, sizes, and printing specifications.
• Monitor production runs and make real-time adjustments to ensure smooth operation.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and engineering teams to optimize machine performance.
• Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance, repairs, and performance issues.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands. Performs other related duties as required.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
