Being a Quality Control Speciali:
- Quality Checks the kits as an individual or part of a team according to kit specifications.
- Scans each tube into the system while confirming the information is accurate.
- Checks the kit includes any ancillary or bulk items.
- Responsible for daily job set-up, clean-up and for a safe working environment.
- May use carts to move kits and materials throughout work area.
- Attends meetings and functions as required.
- Must wear gloves while Quality Checking the Medical Kits.
- Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and works overtime as required to meet workload demands.
- Performs other related duties as required.

- Hearing, vision, physical strength and ability to perform the described essential functions, with or without the use of adaptive devices.
- Reading, writing, spelling, and math abilities for accurate completion of work tasks.

- Attainment of CPR and First Aid certification within 90 days of start date, and maintenance of annual certification.
What Easterseals Redwood needs from our Quality Control Specialist:
- An appropriate combination of education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of an acceptable qualification is demonstrated ability to complete a kit assembly during the screening process and pass drug screening requirements.
- Ability to document identity and employment eligibility within three (3) days of original appointment as a condition of employment in compliance with Immigration Reform and Control Act requirements.
- Ability to meet background check requirements and supply required documentation as outlined by Easterseals Redwood policies.

- While performing duties of this job, employee regularly uses hands and arms to reach materials.
- The employee frequently stands and walks for extended periods and occasionally sits. Occasionally exposed to minor cuts and injuries.
- Employee converses verbally with others in person. Vision demands include close relatively detailed vision when focusing on work, including inspection of product for quality, numeric, and color correctness.
- Employee occasionally lifts varying weights up to 50 pounds when moving boxes, equipment, or supplies.
