About being a Driver/Transportation Specialist at Easterseals Redwood:
In this position you will be responsible for transporting individuals with disabilities to and from programs and work sites.
- Assisting individuals with entering and exiting van.
- Performs external maintenance check daily on van and reports to supervisor any needed maintenance.
- May be required to learn additional van routes in order to provide coverage during absences and vacations.
- Maintains accurate information on individuals served attendance.
- Observes and reports any information which might affect service to individuals served.
What Easterseals Redwood needs from our Driver/Transportation Specialist:
High School diploma or equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Valid driver’s license & automobile insurance & a good driving record
Experience transporting passengers a plus
Drivers are required to be 21 years or older per state regulation
