Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years proven administrative and/or customer service-related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required. Database Management experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bi-lingual a plus.
- Welcome clients, families, vendors and visitors by greeting and directing them appropriately; notify company personnel of visitor arrival; answer or refer inquiries.
- Answer incoming calls utilizing appropriate Easterseals SWFL greetings and direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Follow security and safety protocols: welcome guests (visitors, vendors, etc.), entering the building, complete the background check through the security system, issue a visitor’s badge, and once cleared, notify staff of the individual’s arrival.
- Support the Easterseals staff with effective calendar updates and communications, acting as a hub of information about daily events in the organization.
- Maintain an inviting appearance in the reception area. It must be kept neat and organized to reduce potential safety hazards. And enhance its general appearance.
- Update a company-wide employee directory monthly.
- Develop an excellent understanding of all Easterseals SWFL programming to communicate effectively with clients, families, and visitors.
- Assist with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, collating, and special projects, as needed, to support the organization.
- Comply with Easterseals policies and procedures utilizing the highest personal and professional ethics and behavior standards.
- Demonstrate good judgment, diplomacy, courtesy, and effective communication while working at Easterseals or when representing the organization.
