JOB TITLE: Vice President of Human Resources

FLSA STATUS: Exempt (Salary)

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-Time (40 hours a week) Monday – Friday 7:30-4:30

WORK LOCATION: Paducah, KY

POSITION SUMMARY

Easterseals West Kentucky, Inc. is searching for a full-time Vice President of Human Resources. The Vice President of Human Resources will plan, coordinate and direct the administrative functions of the organization. They will consult with senior management and serve as a link between management and the employees. The Vice President of Human Resources will report directly to the President/CEO and have a strong relationship with the Board of Directors.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The VP of Human Resources will perform all or some of the following:

· Recruit, interview, hire and onboard all new employees

· Enter and maintain all personnel information in the HRIS system

· Manage employee benefits

· Complete monthly purchase orders

· Assist and advise supervisors and vice presidents with personnel issues and disciplinary actions

· Planning, implementing and evaluating employee relations

· Updating and maintaining company policies and procedures

· Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently

· Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations

· Ensure the organizations compliance with all local, state and federal regulations

· Analyze trends in compensation and benefits

· Design and implement employee retention trends

· Collaborate with the CFO to complete the annual budget

· Attend semi-monthly board meetings

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND KEY COMPETENICES:

· Bachelor’s Degree required

· Master’s Degree preferred

· Human Resources experience required

· Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of projects and goals

· Highly organized and detail oriented

· Must be a citizen of the United States and possess a valid driver’s license

· Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
