This is a school-based position with no evenings or weekends and part-time hours during the summer with full salary pay. Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Illinois
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate clients referred for occupational therapy services using established evaluation procedures and standardized assessments.
- Develop treatment goals, plans, and objectives based upon the initial evaluation and program requirements, and update plans per Agency policy.
- Develop and provide coaching for family members and/or client to incorporate new skills and/or techniques into normal routines and activities at home.
- Instruct family members and students in properly and safely using adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
Eligible for loan forgiveness under Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
