Job Description

Eastland Crane & Towing is looking for a Dispatcher to take incoming orders, determine the scope of the job, coordinate and dispatch workers and the appropriate equipment for each job. This is a first shift schedule - 8 AM to 4 PM Monday through Friday.

Job Description :

Take incoming towing requests and determine the right vehicle / equipment needed
Take incoming crane orders and determine the right crane for the job
Provide quotes / pricing for orders and requests
Schedule, dispatch and monitor jobs to ensure each job is completed according to requirements
Order crane permits where needed
Track and log all activity during shift

Skills / Requirements :

Dispatcher experience required; experience dispatching cranes, towing, and heavy equipment a PLUS

Great geographical knowledge of the Columbus area

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

High school degree required

Excellent communication skills including accurately communicating with clients on the phone

Excellent writing skills including the ability to accurately take complex orders

Great with numbers and able to calculate / determine complex orders when needed

Personable and friendly
