Role Profile
The Product Leader (PL) is responsible for leading the product and pricing teams. Their responsibilities include defining the Product Plan(s) and managing the portfolio of products that are required by the Market and Market Segment Plans (includes quality, regulatory, and supply chain cost activities). Leading global pricing team for CASE, which is responsible for pricing execution of all CASE products. Additionally, the Product Leader is a key member of the Auto & Deco SBULT leadership team and is expected to jointly lead key decisions for the segments with other SBULT leaders.
Responsibilities
- Develops the Product Plan(s) aligned to support the Market and Market Segment Plans.
- Partners with Commercial leadership and sales team to drive insight-based actions, and knowledge transfer driving optimal customer engagement and choices.
- Manages the product portfolio as assigned, both strategic and operational oversight; including : MGPP alongside Technology, product lifecycle, formula rationalization, and product obsolescence
- Orchestrates offer execution including pricing excellence and contract execution (e.g., setting of prices within bands, setting price and margin targets based on customer segmentation, price protections, competitive price analyses, terms and conditions, etc.). As required, leads development on new offer elements.
