The Easton Salt Lake Archery Center is a state-of-the-art archery center, featuring indoor and outdoor ranges, and world-class training facilities. The center provides leadership, facilities, programs, training, and education that allows archers to pursue their competitive dreams.
Overview:
The facility assistant will provide basic, routine maintenance on archery ranges and equipment to ensure the ranges are kept at tournament quality condition. This position also provides operational support before, during and after all center events in addition to providing support to archery program related activities as needed.
Hours: 20 hours per week including weekdays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Compensation: $18-20 Hourly DOE

Key Responsibilities:
Facility Duties:
- Ensure maintenance schedules are followed for the following:
- Grounds for Outdoor, Indoor and Field ranges
- Utility Vehicles
- Archery targets
- Maintenance equipment
- All other archery related equipment, including but not limited to - range arrows, range bows and ‘Try Archery’ equipment
- Maintain overall cleanliness and organization of:
- Indoor, Outdoor, and Field Ranges
- Indoor range shop
- Warehouse
- Archery storage sheds and containers
Archery Programs Duties:
- Assist when needed for:
- Birthday parties, field trips, team building, open shooting, and all other basic archery programs
Event Duties:
- Provide logistical/operational support for Archery related events:
- Competition field configuration/set-up for tournament needs
- Operational support throughout duration of archery events
- Assist with break down, organization and inventory after conclusion of events
- Assist with running events, including acting as a judge when needed
- Quickly obtain knowledge of center’s target bales, stands, and all event assets to provide maintenance with little to no supervision
- Assist with other items as needed
Key Qualifications:
- Possess or be willing to obtain US Archery level 2 instructor certification, SafeSport, CPR, first-aid, and any additional training required (training provided)
- Possess or be willing to obtain USA Archery judging certification
- Must be able to work well with youth, adults, and special needs persons
- Must be able to work all scheduled hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and non-standard hours as needed
- Ability to lift targets and other items of a heavy nature averaging 50 pounds in weight and other physical functions as needed
- Be able to safely operate common power and hand tools
- Ability to work in an English-speaking environment
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality on job
- Possess a valid driver’s license
