POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for advanced mechanical diagnostic and repairs, electrical diagnosis and repair, light duty diesel and repair, major engine and mechanical assessment and replacement, as well as general vehicle care, day-to-day maintenance of vehicles, and support of Technician and Technician Apprentice training.
POSITION TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conduct vehicle oil changes
- Complete tire mounting, balancing, repairs, replacements, rotations, and alignments
- Maintain shop cleanliness and organization
- Assist Technician and Master Technician as requested
- Conduct removal of trash and scrap metal and empty oil caddies
- Conduct advanced mechanical diagnostic and repairs which includes but is not limited to drivability, electrical, HVAC, light duty diesel, advanced driveline repair and replacement
- Maintain a clean and safe environment throughout the day and again at the end of the day
- Complete vehicle inspection worksheets
- Support and conduct training of MSDS and proper labeling/usage of chemicals and equipment
- Test drive vehicle to assess and confirm customer concerns
- Conduct break work, steering, suspension, exhaust work, and starting/charging systems
- Assist in customer interaction to confirm vehicle concerns
- Conduct external continuing education and advanced certification
- Support the training of the Technician Apprentice and Technician as assigned by the Service Manager
- Other duties as assigned
