We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, and creative Preschool Music & Movement Teacher to lead engaging, play-based music classes for young children (ages 1-4).
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic teacher to lead early childhood music and movement classes. This role is perfect for someone passionate about music education, child development, and creating a joyful learning environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading interactive, no-tech music classes that focus on rhythm, movement, singing, and exploration through play.
Responsibilities:
- Lead high-energy, engaging music and movement classes for young children (ages 1-4) and their caregivers.
- Introduce basic rhythm, movement, and singing activities using simple instruments, props, and body movement.
- Foster a positive and encouraging classroom environment where learning happens through play.
- Use a structured but flexible class format that keeps children engaged and parents involved.
- Sing confidently (no need to be a professional singer—just engaging and expressive!).
- Adapt lessons based on the energy and attention span of young children.
- Communicate with parents, providing encouragement and reinforcing the value of music in early childhood development.
Qualifications:
- Passion for working with young children and creating a fun, engaging atmosphere.
- Background in music education, early childhood education, or performing arts preferred.
- Ability to sing and lead songs confidently (professional vocal training not required).
- Experience with movement-based activities such as dance, yoga, or theater is a plus!
- Comfort with leading parent/child participation classes.
- Reliable, professional, and able to build relationships with families.
