Eastown Veterinary Clinic is an AAHA-accredited, woman-owned small animal practice located on the east side of Grand Rapids, just outside of downtown. Our privately owned practice has been in this community since June 2011 and is rapidly growing. Our passion is to help owners and pets make the most of every moment by setting the bar in comprehensive care and harnessing the collaboration skills of our highly trained team. We are equipped with updated in-house lab machines, digital dental radiology, digital radiology, ultrasound, surgical and therapeutic laser, four cat exam rooms, five dog exam rooms, a surgical suite, a dental suite, and a complete in-house pharmacy. We also offer puppy classes and behavioral modification assistance for our clients. Additionally, our clinic utilizes Fear Free certification for all staff members to ensure the best experience for ALL patients, clients, and team members.
Relationship-Centered Medicine
- Builds rapport with clients by actively listening, gathering information, and empathizing with their concerns.
- Performs physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental procedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patient stress and discomfort.
- Maintains client/patient medical records and ensures that all necessary logs are kept up to date through established protocols.
- Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
- Assists in the development of the support team to help maintain our promise to our clients of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.
- Presents a positive hospital image in the professional community and the general public.
- Performs routine small animal surgical and dental procedures.

Skills and Basic Qualifications
- Current Veterinary License in the State of Michigan
