Eastpointe Community Schools is a community of under 2500 students: we are proud of our Early Learning Center, four Elementary Schools, one Middle School, and Secondary Campus which supports 900 students in grades 8-12 through an 8th Grade Academy, a traditional high school setting for grades 9-12, and a Virtual Academy/Alternative Center. We boast partnerships with Michigan State University, Boys & Girls Club, Macomb Community College, and many other community entities.
The Director of Student Support Services will oversee the safety net of district services to support students. This will include: special education services including homebound and hospitalized programs; medical policies and procedures; district support service staffing and evaluation, including third party contracts as necessary; district multi-tiered support systems; and supervising Special Education Compliance, Homeless/Wraparound Services Specialist. You will lead work around strategic goals in areas of Learning & Student Supports and Family & Communities.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Administrative Certification;
- 5 Years minimum classroom teaching experience or other similar experience;
- Masters degree with focus in administration, curriculum development, or special education;
- Prior administration experience preferred with a preference for school level Principalship;
- Organizational skills; community oriented;
- Experience working with a diverse population
