Job Title: Preschool Teacher
Overview:
We are looking for preschool teachers who have a passion for teaching children about Jesus and His love for them while also fostering their development needs. Our preschool serves children 18 months - 5 years old. Teachers are required to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30 am to 2:30pm. This position will also include training days and special events as planned by the director. We will follow the Red Oak ISD school calendar. Teachers will work August - May, with no pay in June and July. Teaching experience in an early childhood setting is preferred. This position will be for the 2025-2026 school year.
Responsibilities:
-Support and implement the mission of the school which includes Bible teaching
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans to engage preschool-aged children in learning activities
- Provide a safe and supportive environment that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Monitor and assess each child's progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure continuity between home and school environments
- Incorporate creative teaching methods to enhance literacy, physical education, and overall childhood development
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and social skills
- Foster a love for learning through interactive and hands-on educational experiences
Skills:
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Familiarity with literacy education techniques for early learners
- Proficient in behavior management techniques tailored to young children
