Eastridge Legal has an opening for an Associate Attorney with a large San Diego civil litigation law firm. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in the state of California, with 2-5 years of experience as an attorney. The role is full-time, with some hybrid flexibility.
Job Responsibilities :
- Advise clients on litigation strategies for transportation-related matters (e.g., catastrophic loss, personal injury, cargo claims, products liability, and regulatory compliance) and commercial disputes (e.g., contract disputes, real estate issues, landlord / tenant conflicts, fiduciary duty claims, fraud, unjust enrichment, and partnership disputes).
- Manage all aspects of case handling, including discovery, pleadings, motions, depositions, mediations, and trial.
- Provide clear and comprehensive reporting to client representatives.
- Negotiate and communicate effectively with opposing counsel.
- Draft and respond to legal correspondence.
