What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Associate III position at Eastridge?
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is a leading provider of workforce management solutions, committed to connecting skilled professionals with meaningful career opportunities. Eastridge is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate III for a manufacturer of diagnostic healthcare products sold worldwide.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Process invoices, expense reports, check requests, and payments on an ongoing basis
- Review received, not vouchered report monthly and assist in clearing received item
- Process check runs, monitor cash requirements, print and mail checks, and file paid vouchers
- Ensure accuracy as to correct account numbers, proper use tax, fiscal periods
- Ascertain proper 1099 vendors and assist with year-end processing
- Assist management with the financial close process
- Propose process changes; assist in research, testing and implementation in general ledger system.
- Perform other duties, projects and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma and six years related experience,
- or -Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance and six years related experience,
- or -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and two years related experience
Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of complex accounting processes and theory
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite of products, especially Excel
- Must be self-directed, and demonstrate good team building skills
- Identifies and resolves complex accounting issues with minimal supervision or assistance
- JDE experience a plus
