Assembler 1
Schedule: Full-Time | 1st Shift | 6AM-2PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies using hand tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety regulations and company procedures
- Develop technical knowledge and proficiency in assembly operations
- Operate equipment safely and effectively
- Work collaboratively with team members to improve processes and efficiency
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and be open to feedback for improvement
- Support various assembly areas as needed to meet production demands
- Perform rework and quality inspections as required
- Assist with training new team members when needed
- Demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to perform basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing or walking on concrete for extended periods
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team environment
