Eastridge Workforce Solutions, a leading provider of workforce management solutions, is seeking a Chief Inspector - R&O for a company specializing in advanced engineering solutions.
Job Summary :
The Chief R&O Inspector will report to the Director of Quality and be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and overseeing all quality control duties to maintain the airworthiness of articles at the repair station. This role holds final authority in releasing services within the scope of the Air Agency Certificate and is responsible for planning and defining inspection standards, methods, and procedures to meet all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), manufacturer's specifications, and recommendations. The Chief Inspector will also be the primary contact with the FAA Administrator.
Essential Functions :
- Oversee that all inspections are properly executed and that inspection records, reports, and forms are accurately completed before releasing the product for return to service.
- Manage the Repair Station Training Program and ensure records and revisions are submitted to the CHDO for review and approval.
- Maintain organized job packages and inspection forms to ensure ease of review for repaired items.
- Control and maintain the Repair Station Rosters, Training Records, and Employment Summaries.
- Ensure all PME used in the Repair Station is maintained and calibrated according to the calibration program, and that records are up-to-date.
- Participate in corrective action investigations and responses.
- Review, approve, and re-approve Repair Station documents and personnel before issuance or hire.
- Perform final inspections using appropriate technical data.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
