We are seeking a Senior CNC Programmer for a technology leader specializing in the manufacturing and processing of high-purity quartz, fused silica, and other advanced materials. This company operates globally, providing solutions for industries such as data transmission, telecommunications, specialty optical fibers, semiconductor manufacturing, and optical applications.
Job Details
- Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM)
- Training: 1st Shift (8 weeks)
- Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 DOE
- Location: Phoenix, AZ
Responsibilities
- Write, design, set up, and operate CNC programs for multiple machines.
- Utilize FANUC G/M code, Heidenhain TNC 640, and Renishaw Probe and Laser.
- Interpret engineering drawings, manuals, specifications, and sample parts.
- Perform probing logic, part inspection, and program calculations.
- Develop and optimize CNC programs with the CNC engineer to meet production and quality standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot the CNC programming database and machining processes.
- Oversee CNC machines during production, making necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
- Communicate with supervisors, engineers, production teams, and quality departments to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Maintain quality standards in accordance with the Quality Management System.
Qualifications
- 7 years of CNC programming experience in Mastercam (Expert-level proficiency required).
- Expert proficiency in 5-axis programming.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and inspection tools & methods.
- Ability to detect, isolate, and resolve machinery or equipment malfunctions.
- Adaptability to changing work environments and ability to handle unexpected challenges.
- Professional, safety-conscious work demeanor.
- Experience with SolidWorks & MasterCAM is a plus.
